Dear Friend of Bryce Canyon National Park,

I am writing today to enlist your support as Bryce Canyon National Park struggles to maintain visitor services during the lapse in appropriations to our National Park System.  With no clear end in sight to the bureaucratic impasse and political rancor that permeates from our nation’s capitol, we are reaching out for your assistance.

Since December 22nd, the Bryce Canyon Natural History Association (BCNHA) has been working shoulder to shoulder with federal, state and local partners to insure Bryce Canyon National Park remains open and protection of the park’s world-renowned geological, biological and cultural resources is continuing.

As Bryce Canyon’s official nonprofit partner, we have been able to provide funding for limited visitor services during the government shutdown.  However, these reserve funds, along with some initial funding from the state of Utah are running out and we need your urgent help.

If you would like to show your support for Bryce Canyon National Park, please consider making a monetary donation to the Bryce Canyon Natural History Association.  Your generous donation is tax deductible and will go directly to keeping the park open and resources protected.  If you are unable to make a financial contribution, we humbly request that you reach out to your congressional representatives and encourage them to provide funding to open and secure all of America’s public lands.

Now is the time for all who love Bryce Canyon National Park to show their support, so that we collectively can preserve and protect this special place for future generations.

Gayle L. Pollock, Director & CEO
