Refill Stations Are Here!
January 12, 2016

BOTTLES SAVED FROM LANDFILLS: 186,215.

Bryce Canyon National Park launched its Hydration Program in 2014 to encourage proper hydration by park visitors and to reduce the environmental impact created by single-use water bottles.

Park visitors are encouraged to carry and drink enough water to prevent heat related illness in Bryce’s hot and arid summer environment. Many people are accustomed to purchasing bottled water and immediately disposing of the empty container.

Bryce Canyon’s goal is to provide water bottle filling stations at the park that make water more accessible to park visitors and reducing the occurence of heat related illness. The Bryce Canyon Refill Program also encourages the use of reusable water bottles and refill stations to reduce plastic waste and environmental impact within the park.

In coordination with its partners, the Bryce Canyon Natural History Association and Forever Resorts Concessions, Bryce Canyon has created a program to sell affordable, reusable water bottles while providing free “Bryce Canyon Spring Water” at filling stations at major stopping points throughout the park– Bryce Canyon Visitor Center, Sunset Point, Sunrise Point and Bryce Canyon Lodge.

Drink water, stay hydrated.
