Public Lands Alliance Awards Vapur for Environmental Efforts
Oxnard, Calif. (March 30, 2016) – Vapur®, manufacturer of the flexible, reusable Anti-Bottle®, has been awarded the coveted Public Lands Alliance Corporate Stewardship Award for their work on the Bryce Canyon National Park Hydration Program. Vapur was one of two corporations awarded at the March 9 Public Lands Alliance Convention.

hoodoodropThe Bryce Canyon National Park Hydration Program, in partnership with the National Park, aims to keep visitors healthy and hydrated by offering easy access to clean, safe water at refill stations located throughout the park, while promoting the use of reusable water bottles and reducing waste. Since 2009, Vapur has made it their mission to make hydration more portable, while putting an end to the 38 million water bottles thrown away each year. Through Hydration Programs such as this, Vapur has saved more than two million single use bottles from ending up in landfills.

The Public Lands Alliance Corporate Stewardship Award recognizes a company that has demonstrated exceptional achievements to enhance the quality of the visitor experience in America’s public lands through activities like product development, cause marketing and philanthropic support.

“We are not only grateful for the important work of the Public Lands Alliance, but are honored that they have recognized Vapur as a key partner in their mission to protect public lands,” say’s Brent Reinke, CAO and co-founder of Vapur. “The Bryce Canyon Hydration Program was a successful partnership that we plan to expand to more parks and public spaces in the future.”
